The CCNPS Band program comprises of 2 bands.
Performance Band (Years 4-6)
Training Band (from Year 3)
Both bands rehearse once a week for an hour.
Performance Band - Wednesday, 8.00am - 9.00am (Mr Matt O’Brien)
Training Band – Friday. 8.00am – 9.00am (Mrs Surrey Hodges)
All students are given the opportunity to be part of this exciting program, from Year 3. In addition, a Year 2 Recorder Band operates in Term Four each year. This program is an important aspect of the band preparation program.

The bands have had continued success with notable performances at school assemblies, the Northern Beaches Band Festival, NSWEE Concert Series, Warringah Mall and Battle of the Bands.
We encourage large numbers into the Band Program as we believe all children should have access to music education.
The bands have a parent committee to organise fundraisers and help with communication between the Band Conductors, the Band Administration Officer (Lisa James) and band members. For further information take a look at the band program booklet.
