Parents and friends are welcome to visit our school and classrooms on Thursday 24 August when we will be celebrating Education Week and Book Week. As well as celebrating the excellent teaching and learning that happens in classrooms, some of the additional fantastic programs we have in operation at our school will be showcased at a whole school assembly following open classrooms.
K – 2 classrooms will be open for you to visit from 9.15am until 9.40am.
Year 3 – Year 6 classrooms will be open for you to visit from 9.45am until 10.10am
The whole school assembly will be from 10.15am to 11.10am in Reptiles' Retreat.
The assembly will showcase: The Glen St Dance Festival Boys, Junior and Senior Dance Groups, Public Speakers, the choir, the school bands and our solo vocalist who has been selected to perform as a soloist at this year's Schools Spectacular. The Library will be open from 8.00am for Book Donations.
As visitors leave the school there will be a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake on offer to enjoy on the administration block verandah.
