The Department of Education School Swimming Scheme is an intensive learn to swim program that all of Year 2 have the opportunity to participate in.
The Scheme is conducted over a two week period from Monday 16th September through till Friday 27th September. Each lesson will run for 45 minutes.
Students are to wear their sports uniform with suitable swimmers.
Other items required are - towel, underpants, goggles, plastic bag, swim cap for long hair and a small healthy snack for after the lesson.
Please label all items with your child's name and class.
This is a great program developing water confidence and provides students with basic skills in water safety and survival as well as providing stroke correction and training for more proficient swimmers.
