Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!
Our Activities include:
- Curly Kids OOSH (before and after school care)
- Canteen
- Uniform Shop
- Many fundraising activities
- Grounds maintenance and working bees
- Providing funding to support the school, such as getting iPads and computer equipment into classrooms, provision of shade structures & play equipment in the school grounds.
- Social and Community Events
- Advocacy
Your P&C is successful because of the commitment of generous volunteers and our wonderful paid staff.

Membership of the Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C) is open to all parents/carers of children attending Curl Curl North Public School and to all interested citizens.

Meetings are held twice a term in Week 2 and Week 8. Please enter the school via the OOSH gate and the meetings are close by in our Open Learning Space (adjacent to the OOSH room).
- Term 3 Week 8 - Tuesday 9 September 2025. 7pm
- Term 4 Week 2 - Tuesday 21 October 2025. 7pm
- Term 4 Week 8 - Tuesday 2 December 2025. 7pm
If you wish to join the P&C to allow you to vote at meetings and stand for a position on the executive committee please go to the P&C website to pay your $2 yearly fees. P&C website
Volunteer at our school
Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- helping in the canteen
- getting involved in the P&C.
- listening to children read in the classroom
- volunteering on sports days and other school events
- helping supervise excursions.
